Job Description
Role: Responsible for overall club direction and management.
Things to Do:
Ø Set overall annual committee agenda.
Ø Prioritise committee goals.
Ø Facilitate effective management committee meetings.
Ø Preside at all official club meetings.
Ø In the event of a tied vote, the president has an additional casting vote.
Ø Guide the other officers in the commission of their duties and represent the club at official functions.
Ø Be a supportive leader for all organizational members.

Ø The president is supported by the club’s committee members.
Qualifications:
Ø An outgoing personality.
Ø Good communication skills.
Ø Strong leadership skills.
Time Commitments
Ø 2 hrs monthly to attend committee meetings.
Ø The amount of time the office holder wishes to commit to the position.
Ø The position is filled at the October AGM and held for 12 months.
Expenses
Ø Pre-agreed out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed
